During the site selection process we consider and analyze many variables which contribute to a viable restaurant site within a specific trading area. Working with you and your real estate representatives, we review geo-demographic data, local economic information, site-specific variables that affect business (traffic counts, ingress, egress, parking, visibility, etc.), local traffic generators and the local competitive set to help ensure you've chosen the best location for your business.
Site selection is just the start of our involvement in helping you make the most of your investment. Rotelli management will assist in lease negotiations; recommend architectural firms, designers and contractors; provide options for equipment manufacturers and dealers; as well as evaluate local suppliers to determine who can provide you with the best product and support.
Selecting the ideal management team is not an easy task. At Rotelli, we pride ourselves on our ability to help you identify and select the best individuals to help run your business effectively and efficiently. We then enroll your general manager and kitchen manager in an intense training program, which must be successfully completed in order for us to recommend their employment. Training is serious business at Rotelli, as we believe the best way to protect your investment is to have a well-trained management team!
You will be provided with training manuals and a proprietary recipe manual, which will serve as valuable tools in your ongoing training and staff development. Members of Rotelli management will be on hand prior to your first week of operations to lend a hand in opening your restaurant in an exceptionally memorable way for your guests.
Once you're "up and running," we are only a phone call or quick trip away for assistance. We don't measure our success by how many franchises we sell, but rather by the success of each individual franchise location.
- When you join the Rotelli family of neighborhood restaurants, you become part of a well-grounded system that provides support to each and every location.
- Our point-of-sale computer system allows you to track the key measurements of your business (product mix, food costs, labor costs, business trends, etc.) as well as sales and customer counts. As the franchisor, we also have access to this information, so timely assistance and analysis is readily available.
- A special, password-protected, franchise website acts as a primary communication channel for the system. It also contains our proprietary recipes and other confidential information for your easy reference.
- A national production fund provides our franchisees with high-quality marketing material that an independent operator could never afford to produce. And because you're part of a growing system, the costs of these materials are kept to a minimum.
Regularly scheduled operational assessments are conducted in the field by members of the Rotelli corporate staff. During these assessments, we advise franchisees on every aspect of your operations, as well as marketing updates, new products, industry/consumer research and the status of the system as a whole. Most importantly, we are there to tour the trading area with you, to discuss local problems or opportunities and to answer your questions.
Local Marketing Programs
In addition to the local marketing materials provided by the national production fund, local store marketing programs have been developed. Utilizing production fund materials, you can build your business by taking advantage of opportunities in your trading areas. Specific programs have been developed to build sales through a variety of business channels (takeout, delivery, catering) or by supporting local events. Planning your Grand Opening will be the first step in your local marketing efforts. And, of course, we will be there to assist you!
